Bout to watch "Leinster v. Edinburgh" Original air date was Oct. 30..

Watched Australia V. England early this morning. Not sure if it was a friendly or what, Australia put it on them.. England started to make a nice comeback, but I had to take my niece to school and missed the end.. Not sure if England came back or not..

Question.. During the Aussie's and England game, when a player was tackled, the said player stood up and rolled the ball back with his foot.. In previous games I watched: The said tackled player would hold the ball while his mates plowed into the opposition and formed a "line" which then the ball was pushed through the mass of bodies.. Why are these two types of play different?

England got tonked mate, as Great Britain we haven't won a series against them since '68, since they disbanded the lions and set up the home nations (so as to have a bigger world cup) then any real hope of competing with them disappeared, we may get the odd win against them but that will be all. What you saw was tri-nations, the aussies meet the kiwis this week, keep an eye out for it.

Cool bro, thanks for reply.

There are actually 4 teams in the 'tri-nations', with the 4th being Papua New Guinea who we play at Eden Park in Auckland this weekend, and who will no doubt wants us to taste their knuckles and vent tribal anguish onto us.

Physical sport against people who still headhunt, shrink heads and eat the torso's is always going to be feisty.

Don't get excited by union at all anymore to be honest. It's why im such a big league fan...but take me back 5 years and I was obsessed with union.
