The more you watch it, the more certain it is a red card. I don't think there's any debate to be had on that. It wasn't a red card 10 years ago, but to use a famous quote "the game it don changed"
I thought it was harsh as he turned right into Cane. If he'd kept on going forward as he looked like he was doing that tackle wasn't going to hit him in the head.

Must be hard as an Irishman to watch another world cup final without you in it, 7 consecutive quarter final loses now isn't it? One day...

Umpa Lumpa rugby, the Wonka's vs the Pygmies. What a competition...

Be better than this. Honestly in a world cup final there has to be some common sense applied where a red card is because someone has been very reckless or done serious damage with a something that was less.

I go back to the Argentina player literally decked out the Wales player in the ruck, so he had to go off and get a HIA. Not even a yellow.

I agree with you in that it is harsh, it's just the rules these days. The IRB are doing all they can to mitigate their chances of being sued for dementia and undue care of the players in the future. They're no longer called fouls, they're called collisions now, all sorts of lawyer language.

An error previous doesn't negate the rules right now. Having swallowed one yellow already you'd have thought the captain would have known to not give the ref any decision to make.

SA almost in...

I think they're taking their cues from the NFL and American Football. They've made a lot of changes that side of the world.
