Seems a complete waste of time given how few first team opportunities reserve keepers get. We've had dozens of promising young goalies down the years and none have looked like making the first team on a regular basis. Gotta be a better way of doing it.

Turns out them two are actually the same, Jones played a blinder for Boro vs the RS when Tuncay destroyed them the year they were relegated. I remember this because he was my reserve keeper and got a game and scored plenty - doubly sweet as it was vs them and I could rub it into someones face twice fold. Hoping this isnt an omen.
 
Just been on fooball focus, being touted for the euro's squad. not a bad choice as back up, did we sell him too early?

he wanted to go for 1st team football, i think he's had a very good season but im still not convinced he would have ever been good enough to be our number 1
