I'm sure I said this the day he signed.

Everyone was making a big deal of his previous employers...Newcastle, Middlesbrough and England. Great CV that....is it?

3 totally wank teams...common trend that he's now employed by another wank team? Who werent wank before he came?

Round is wank

Its Moyes who has been playing the players who are in terrible form. Moyes who has been making the crazy substitutions. Moyes who employed Round. Blame him.

Exactly. This guy might be [Poor language removed] but Moyes brought him in. Now I wonder whether it was because Moyes felt that Round was the perfect guy to be subservient to his overall plan? Maybe Round is just following what Moyes says? Perhaps if Round was shown the door Moyes would bring in another guy that would be exactly the same. Do people really think Mr "my contract makes me king of the world" Moyes would stomach innovation from anyone but himself? I can see it now at Rounds interview. Moyes talking about himself, his plans, his team, his difficulties, his work ethic, his dislike of laziness, his ....

MOYES OUT
ROUND IN

so if you was to get rid of moyes would you keep round ?
no, so get rid of round, his previous record speaks for itself imo, did you cheer from the rafters at his appointment ?
we will be totally inept and inert by the end of the season.

No, I'd give the players a boot up the arse because some recent performances haven't been good enough, tell Moyes to increase the squad size so the players who are in the team know they're going out of it if they consistently play [Poor language removed], tell the board to give the manager enough money to ensure he can sign a big enough squad for that to happen, tell Moyes to learn how to make a substitution & take it from there.

We've been a lot worse this season than last & a change has been Round coming in. That's very observant of you to notice, but you're assuming it's all his fault based on nothing more than the fact that he's new. Loads of things have changed since last season, Carsley has left, Alan Irvine left, other players left, new players came in & there could have been loads of behind the scenes stuff that we have no idea about. Just thinking "Oh, it must be Round's fault" is absurd.

i think the end of last season was probably to do with going out of uefa, he hasnt brought us anything in any dept though as far as i can see.

From where? Do you see him working on a day-to-day basis? Have you monitored his work in detail?

I hope this is a wind-up, I really do

Jimmy the Kitman. Ok, he turned it around at HT for us against United, but this feller just isn't working out anymore. The short arsed little ****.

kill the scapegoat!!! no seriously, whether or not it really is his fault, getting rid of him may make it look like we got rid of the problem, which will encourage the players to play better.

The players had - and began to use - the excuse early in the season that Moyes not signing his contract was affecting their performance. Then that went away and they still have no focus. Who the fcuk knows what Round does, good, bad or indifferent? I have a feeling it will make no difference if he was sacked.

These players, imo, got the impression the club was meant to be kicking on at the end of last season and they now know that's not true and that they have no competition for places, and neither do they think the club is going places. There's a general malaise at the club, you cant pin it down to any one individual.

I believe you're right.

Good post.

And Mr Moyes and Mr Round hardly seem like the most charismatic kinda guys who can inpsire an under performing team just by turning up.
