But he's clearly a striker. I've always sort of thought that but watching him play in an actual side it's crystal clear. Part of why he's not reached the level he could have.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt mate. I remember some of our conversations, particularly about when was the right time for him to leave…….I think there was mention of him not making the Brazil squad/team for this World Cup.

I didn't think he would. I think Gabriel Jesus is a better player. But they (rightly) value the continuity they've developed with him.
