The first miss was terrible, the 2nd miss was the same as the first just the opposite side and the 3rd miss was the same as the 2nd.

Why does hardly anyone actually strike a penalty like you would a normal shot. Some of those were barely backpasses

Japan are too nice. Cleaning up the changing rooms, passing the ball to the opposing goalkeeper in the shootout. Terrible set of pens. You don't even need to practice penalties specifically; you're a professional footballer, there is no excuse whatsoever to not be able to put your foot through it.
