Obsession with Barkley? Hardly, he wasn't putting the effort in when things weren't going his way... that's what I can't stand.... if you read what I have just written I said if Barkley plays like he can't be arsed basically... if he is playing like he used to and running with the ball eyc then yeah I want him... I remember his displays against Norwich, the derby 3-3 QPR ... I want that player.... but I havnt seen him do that for 3 years mate....

The search function reveals and obsession with Barkley nearly as bad my obsession with tedious parochial jibes at others mate.
The Barkley who last season was instrumental to our improvement from Christmas to April. Second only in influence to Lukaku.
Denial of that is a sure fire confirmation of an agenda. Do you see Everton carrying the ball forward much now? Many Everton players beating a man? Creating chances despite a plethora of so called number 10s?
We're a much poorer side without Ross Barkley and I hope both the club and player find a way to resolve this. If you're an Evertonian so should you. Anyone finding themselves heavily scrutinising Barkley's effect and vocally berating him for facilitating an air of toxicity that will not serve Everton in improving and winning trophies.
Which we all want, right?
