It's Franny Jeffers all over again. Another young footballer who thinks he's far, far better than he actually is. Looks like he may have realised at the last moment that the grass ISN'T greener in our overrated capital city.
It will be interesting to see what happens with his career at Everton from here on.

No defending him now from me. It was one thing wanting a move somewhere else, but screwing your club out of £35m is bang out of order.

If he doesn't sign a new contract by the time he's fit again we should put him in the reserves, and let him train on his own. Make a proper example of him. Genuinely never think that's a good thing but if he's essentially robbed us of 35 million quid so he can take his pick in 4 months and sign a pre contract he is the biggest maggot ever.

Still won't sign at that point I don't want him taking the place of someone who could be developed in the u23s.

Moshiri says Barkley wants to reconsider his position in January. Smells of waiting for Spurs with a much lower offer.

This seems the only logical answer. Was hoping Spurs would come in. Proper Evertonian.......not. We'll be lucky to get £10m now. Why do that??
