If he's still here by the of the window then he's got two options going forward. The first is he does the sensible thing and signs a new deal, gets his head down and works hard to get back into the team, once he's past the injury. If he still wants his move then he has the perfect opportunity to prove himself this season that he's worth a big money move next summer for somebody. His second option is to play silly bugger and refuse to sign a deal, if he's foolish enough to chose this course then he needs to be kept away from the senior side.

I really hope he has enough sense to sign a new deal because it's very much in his own interests. If the mamager is the problem for Ross then the lad must realise that it's very unlikely that Koeman will here beyond the end of next season. Manager's come and go in the game very quickly these days so it's extremely stupid to make a move to or from a club based on a short term problem like that.

I think resigning with a modest buy out clause is the best we can hope for here
