Spurs won't be signing anyone as expensive as Ross they have a stadium to pay for. As for Ross, if he signs then great, if not I'm not sure where he would go, maybe Italy where he would get more time on the ball. If he runs his contract down he's daft in football terms as he will probably end up somewhere like Stoke. I'm not sure if he suits Koeman's vision, if he wasn't at the club I don't think he would have signed him.

Walsh before hand said the same as Koeman. A contract will be offered to Ross, it's up to the player if he signs. It only becomes an issue if he doesn't sign.

not sure who's the cause of the hold up here. The club, the player or the agent. Something's not right though. Whether it's money, ambition or weight of expectation who knows but i hope it can be sorted and sorted quick. Him signing a contract would be another positive boost for everyone heading into the last several games.

Listening to Neville and Redknapp there, seems to me like they know he is going as neither even suggested they thought he would stay at Everton.

Absolutely amazed at this! I never in a million years thought we would be losing Ross Barkley when we are going the right way as a club.

As expensive as Ross ? He's got 1 year left on his contract, he could easily go for £20m(ish) imo

If Spurs come in for him my money is on him rejecting our contract.

No chance we would sell for £20m and also I don't think Spurs will sign anyone for £20m and if they do it will be a foreign player who they can pay £40k a week not Barkley who will expect £100k

I think the issue may be Barkley rating himself higher than Walsh and Koeman rate him.

Spurs don't need another attacking Midfielder. They're Midfield is already pretty incredible. If they're going to spend big money my guess is they'll splash it on a decent striker to play with and challange Kane.

Koeman has moulded Barkley into the player he wants him to be though. He's invested more time in him it seems than most of our other players, and Barkley has rewarded that with some fine displays.

Let's hope Barkley realises that and signs. Not every player appreciates tough love but it seems to work for Ross.

...I'm calm, Matey. He might not go to Spurs but he might go somewhere. I'd hope he stays but I'm not overly bothered if he leaves.

Indeed there will be mate, I'd just be sad to see him go..... it wasn't that long ago we were talking about our four young , great prospects who were going to transform us , Stones, Del Boy, Rom and Ross. While none are in their class yet I guess our four new saviours are Holgate, Lookman, DCL and Davies.
