Yes mate someone like mourinho or pocchetino would let him run free and express himself with nary a thought for defensive duties...
They wouldn't shackle them. Have you seen Alli's defensive record as opposed to what Pocettino looks for him to do in the opposition half regards atttacking?

As said, the lad has been largely neutered by Koeman, buy hey, a lot of people are pleased to see the lad running round and laying off and keeping down the adventurism. That's their prerogative I suppose.

Does anyone actually know Davek? Like really know him? Gone for a pint with him? Ive never read anyone type as much nonsense and seemingly go against what everyone else can see. In every single thread, if someone says black, he says white. Obviously football can be a game of opinions but this div is just on a wind up.

And as for that plum ringing talksport, what games are these dopes watching?
Makes me wonder if he is a WUM or a kopite

Context in this instance is just muddying the waters. Assists = success; Chances Created = success + failure.

You want to say that a player can be considered good because the vast majority of moves they were involved in ended in failure.

Ha ha ha. 'Context muddying the waters'. Strewth.

Bit of strawman presentation of what I'm saying that Dave (as well you know). I'm saying that a player can play well, even if they don't get an assist, and that other measures are useful in judging the overall performance of a player.

You're saying only goals or assists matter. Except when its dribbling. Sometimes. When it backs up the argument you're making that hour. But not when it doesn't.

We obviously disagree. Again!!!

I keep thinking Im being a bad arl arse on you for pointing out you talk crap but youre being very insulting seeing as you're THE ONLY ONE who sees this nonsense youre on about. Like were all footballing simpletons for not getting onto your genius.

You talk utter BS mate. Absolute negative, wild eyed BS.

Wanna show me the player who isn't regarded as an exceptional playmaker in the chances created top 5 over the past three years Dave? You've swerved that question two or three times now whilst poo pooing its validity in showing a players creativity...

Yeah, thought not.

No mate. You're merely trying to pump up the positive contribution of players by giving them credit for affecting NO positive change in a game.

That's why 'chances created' will remain a nerd category that explains nothing.

Hes a more complete player.
I respect your p.o.v. mate. But if you think that lad is playing the foreworks type of football he was a couple of seasons back then you're kidding yourself.

He's muted and he's conservative. That's what his manager wants and that's what he's giving him.

Ive never met Dave, but I have engaged with him on this very forum for the best part of almost 8 years.

I can assure you he is very much a passionate Everton fan, his views are slightly off-centre, but never doubt his dedication to this football club.

Slightly off-centre? lol

Hes getting stuck in, adding another bow to his game, it will only benefit him and make him a better player, no more going missing, hes central to everything we do.

Ross was that crap I believe I advocated a swap deal with Snodgrass at some point, Ronnie has played a blinder with tough love not constant bubbles up his arse. Looking a different player.
