He's just not intelligent enough. He's making bad decisions, he's positioning is awful (he's running where our other players are constantly and he's very easy to mark) and he's unable to find pockets of space. Need some serious coaching if it's not too late.

I'm really struggling to see how it was a decent performance from him, maybe I still expect too much from him.

A basic for any top footballer though is don't give the ball away cheaply yet for 2 years now he can't get this out of his game.

he was ordinary. but i dont blame him the slightest. he needs a little more than plodus barry and mr.cantpassgana around him
basically a lone man in midfield. cant help but think if we get schneiderlin in, how much it may help barkley.

edit: not having a go at Gana either.

His display will be scrutinised more than anyone's. He was alright tonight imo, kept going and got a goal.

He didn't give the ball away any cheaper than anyone else, In-fact if you look at the stats he gives the ball away far less than most of the squad.

Nah mate. Hes not a midfield link man. You don't see Chelsea playing through Kante. His jobs to break the play up and give it to the nearest blue shirt. Agree what you say about the 2nd goal, but you get my drift.

I know but he was poor today for his high standards. It was like a bad Apple today the bad passing.
