Thought he did well tonight and was one of our better players. Gueye and baines were pants but they won't get the neg comments because they're the darlings at the moment. Two centre backs were all over the place at times too. Lukaku largely anonymous but had Barkley not scored this thread would be full of the usual he's dross comments.

Clearly two camps.

I thought he had a good game too. Movement of the forward line was better also from Kev and Valencia, played some good through balls and into feet on the edge of the box. Got a goal. Had a few shots.

Different energy from him when Davies came on. Good understanding. Made him get forward more.

Agreed. Nobody runs in behind for a pass or moves off the ball, Davies offered that. Some nice play between Davies, Barkley and Coleman late on in the game.
