The amount of times he loses the ball is unbelievable. He just isnt creative enough and never puts a player in front of goal with one pass. Its really the same every week.

So...when the ball is in the air more than on the floor and we're bypassing the midfield hoping for drop downs from the front two...how's he getting the ball?

The game was a scrap and not a football match, and he did his part.

I'll also point out he's created more chances for the team than any other player too.

But hes out Joe Allen apparently.

Created more chances... dunno how they work that one out to be honest. We made about 2 chances all game, one came from bolasie! Lukaku Should've bagged it.

Awful again. He does not work hard enough and we lost the midfield completely in the second half.

Simply because Palace bypassed the midfield, by bombing balls into the box for Benteke, in the second half.

Not up to it as a No. 10, he is better suited to a deeper playmaking position - if he can't displace Barry he has no future at Everton.

I actually want Ross to succeed, but I'm being honest and saying he simply isn't good enough right now. I was stating this season would be his and he would show us what he is made of, so far he hasn't fulfilled.

He was better, retained possession more than he has done recently, but for me he still doesn't show the workrate or influence that the position needs.

What's happened to the Ross Barkley of 2013/14?? His confidence looks shot these days.

His highlight today was that he tackles and ran. Says a lot that imo.

All in good areas, players in box should have done more with them. As threatening as they have been all season. Not Barkley's fault they weren't finished off.

That was Gueye.

And as for chances, they base it off opportunities set up in the box. He put Coleman through twice and Lukaku for a shot that was blocked.

None of them defence splitting passes or clear cut chances, but in terms of being someone making things tick he did okay with the limited football that was on show.

The game was a heading competition for the defence.
