Ross Barkley

I can accept him making errors in possession but bottling out of challenges all over the show is disgusting.

He needs to either decide he wants to play for Everton and give his all, or to be honest I'd happily see him drift into obscurity because he's one of the few on this planet who's blessed with a huge talent, and can apply it at an employer he genuinely loves. I've defended him on numerous ocassions but I'm sick of him not pulling his weight.

Call him out in public and watch the reaction.

Mr Koeman is going to have to find a more conciliatory approach with certain players and take a harder line with others.

The trick is applying the medicine correctly and in the right dose...oh, and keeping it in house...always a good thing I reckon.

His mental strength doesnt match his natural ability.

He does my head in to be honest. And I am the type who gives chance after chance to pretty much all our players.

That shot in the first half summed him up to me, he had a bit of space yet he hit it first time and it went miles away. When a ball comes into him where he needs to hit it first time he stops, tries to turn and loses it. Wrong decisions all the time and he puts bugger all effort in to get the ball back.

He doesn't even attempt to challenge most of the time, just stands there with his thumb up his arse and lets the opposition breeze past him. That semi against untied where he let fellaini waltz past him about 8 times should've been the last we ever seen of that, but it STILL hasn't been remedied.

I'm sick of it, and I'm getting sick of him tbh.

Might not agree with the article but a mini segment from last year relating to Barkley being a square peg in a round hole:

His failings this season are more evident because nobody is covering his mistakes and/or position

If he ain't a number 10 then were should he play? He isn't a deeper midfielder as like people have said he bottles tackles all the time. Personally just don't think he is good enough which is a shame.

He's just the epitome of the modern english footballer.

They are the best at every level they play. It's easy. It's fun.

Then at senior football it's not so easy anymore. And they aren't arsed enough to put the hard yards in.
