Even if there is movement - he still dwells on it, or dribbles for no reason, or spins around and holds it up when the attack is on.

You're right with the fact there's a lack of movement upfront, but Barks is still poop with it even when there is movement.

He is absolutely terrible right now but other players were somehow worse.

I really don't know what his deal is at the moment. I don't know how you get the best out of him. The harsh approach doesn't seem to have worked as he's been terrible since the boro match and Martinezs constant positivity didn't sort him out either.

He is without question a worse player than when he originally broke into the team. Something has gone horribly wrong.

Keep this up all season and I question his future at the club, I'd still like to keep him but I'm not sure Koeman would have the patience. I also wonder if he would perhaps do better at another club away from the pressure of being the local lad whose been hyped to death.

He needs dropping badly. Don't see what he offers us at all. Massively overrated and we should have bought someone in the summer in his position. He has it was to easy getting a spot in the team.

How about the misplaced sideways passes from the center line? The inability to defend? The passivity and leaving it to wingers to create? The dreadful decision-making in the box?

Not everything is Lukaku's and the wingers' fault.

As a team we don't move and offer that option for the player. Even if we made runs to open up the ball to feet option for Lukaku, that'd be good. We don't though, so we're left passing out wide and hoping the winerd can create some magic.
Would like to see Ross moving off the shoulder too, he's too static IMO.
Works really well as a pivot, but if no one is making the runs he needs to do it.

Not from what I was watching. Ross is supposed to be our creative guy, the pressure is on him as the next big thing, he isn't delivering and hasn't for over a year.
