That's right - I didn't. What I'm saying is there is very little where he's gonna improve. This is his third manager now (Not including his loan spells) and all the foibles and flaws are still very much evident. He was only given a reminder at sunderland, and had an average game inbetween (That seemed to convince some he was learning) which was followed by last night's showing...Make of that what you will.
Yes - he CAN be magnificent, but those instances are too sporadic for him to be considered as a great player.
We've seen it all too often in the past. While I don't agree with the vitriol (I haven't heard exactly what was being shouted, but I can guess) there is more of a case for it to be borne of frustration and a legitimate concern of history repeating, than for it to be on any personal hatred note.
