I guess partly in his defence, while playing at no.10, with the current tactics of bang it up to Lukaku (bypassing Barkley) the lad isn't getting much to work with. If we had a centre forward that could trap more than just wind he'd probably have a bit more of the ball coming to him facing the oppositions goal. Even when the ball is brought down and laid back to Barkley it's either him making a poor (or late) decision on what to do with it, or he knocks it forward to Lukaku who again seems to have lost all ability to hang on to the ball or find another blue shirt (and he's the first to throw his toys out the pram when a blue messes up a pass to him!).
