The 'arm around the shoulder' type Manager (Martinez) didn't work for Ross last season. Plus he didn't look in good condition. The no nonsense type Manager (Koeman) has got him back in good shape (or maybe the fitness coaches have) and he's been better this season. But, equally, it seems Ross doesn't like his contract offer and position at the club/team. A mystery.
Would like to hear what he thinks and his reasons for not signing up.

His agent is Paul Martin who works for the Wasserman media group agency. David Moyes' son works for them too.
