There's been no change.
They're in talks, as they have been for a while.
Ross wants to reach the CL. So does Koeman.
That is what's not great.
Disappointing to see this drag on and on.

Surely every player wants CL football.
Nothing to see here.........

Even more galling when that player is a boyhood blue who has come through the ranks. Sadly that's the world we live in now, particularly when you've got agents involved.Tbf Ross been a frustrating player to watch until Koeman got hold of him. Sometimes he goes back to his frustrating ways such as the Derby. I'm sick of players holding clubs and fans to ransom.

Couldn't agree more. If Chelsea didn't come calling for lukaku, but United did and only had Europa league football to offer, I'd bet he'd still want to join them....as I've said before, I always find that an odd statement. If a player wants Champions League they can sign for Celtic. Even the likes of Manchester Utd are having time out so I'm not exactly sure what players mean. Unless they say, "a club who have a chance of winning the Champions League" I suggest it's a throwaway statement and what they really want is a more prestigious club than Everton.
Heard that being spouted by a Liverpool fan account on Twitter. I remain skeptical of its legitimacy.
I didn't personally expect any change this week. Based off Walsh's comments Sunday it's an ongoing process, albeit one that should and probably could have been sorted a while back.
That being said. Koeman also said today:
"We will offer him a contract that is good for the player. Everton is the best place for him."
But nobody is prepared to fking work for it...Everyone wants CL all of a sudden.
Ross needs to look at his improvement this season under Koeman. Even allowing the events of this week, I don't think he'd settle being based in London (Spurs). I'd be more worried about an approach from city.
Sigurdsson is better, Banega from Inter, Jonathan Viera from Las Palmas, I'd even say Lanzini is marginally better. And that's just a few examples.
He's playing well ATM but he's nowhere close to being irreplaceable, our fans overrate him alot. Obviously it'd be better if he stayed because our squad overall is stronger with him in, but I wouldn't be arsed in the slightest if he left - we'd get a good £30-35m too. There's nowhere better for him to go anyway - none of the top 6 clubs want nor need him.
But nobody is prepared to fking work for it...
Bizarre. Want, want, want.
