Who did play with intelligence in the team today?

..i'm not really having that Ijjy. It's fine if players around him fail to capitalise on what he's done but too often he fails to utilise the possession he has, that part of the game is his own responsibility. Late on Origi took it off him in the box, he was starting to look void. I agree it was a poor team performance but he should've come off that pitch with plaudits.

He still plays like he's in the playground. If he was 17 you could say "he's raw, he will develop game intelligence"...he's 23.

The lack of a football brain will always hold him back. He's also wreckless and every coach has struggled to manage him.

Nobody is giving him plaudits mate. Obviously no player deserves that today.

But the hate on him needs several caveats.

I still like him.
Me too thought he gave 110% from start to finish tried on numerous occasions to drive us forward ,when he did get past the hordes of rs there was still no out ball for him to play especially with Lukako not being arsed today ,head and shoulders above the rest of our team who apart from Davies ,who tried hard were useless

If soumess had watched every 90mims of his last 10 games. He would have said it just wasn't his day today move on.
Sadly a poor performance in a high profile game and the same bullshit comes out.

Make poor decisions. Got no brain
Blah blah blah

...he's a confident and talented footballer so he will get his foot on the ball and try but he fails to impact games when its most needed by the team. He wasn't as bad as the game at Goodison but you could hear their fans laughing at him. He's been terrific of late but I'm afraid he played with little or no intelligence today.

Surprised one of them didn't throw a paving slab at him while sipping on a bottle of Fanta too.

Who's arsed? You don't have to go to work on Monday surrounded by kopties do you? We do so forgive me for being more upset than you, 'jack'

P.s support your local team.
Grow up lad.. Although from the south still don't forget my roots ;) it hurts trust me it hurts. Trouble is down here it's full of plastics which makes that punch even harder ;) ;)

I agree with this so so so much.

Nothing came off for him today but he has to do everything to get an attack going on his own.

If we had Mata, Coutinho, effing peak Zidane it would be the same. We need to learn some different ways to get at the opposition. Other than give it to Ross and pray something comes off.

I said this earlier, replace Barkley with any other player in the league today and they'd have been up against it.

There was no one for him to play off today with Lukaku marked out the game and Lewin not being good enough.
