It doesn't sound right. Lets hope it's not a repeat of the Kone injury. I'd fear ACL. Fingers crossed.

Yeah it's really worrying I think. Right knee, no real prospect of a quick return, Martinez talking about 'periods of adversity'.

Huge player to lose as the side is built around him. Pienaar was great today but the options in that area are very thin

But it's the transferring of the ball at pace from one phase to the next that no-one else in the squad does as well as Barkley.

If we aren't going to see much of him before Christmas, that's massive and will change the way we play completely
