Getting myself proper hyped up for the World Cup and was watching this.
The biggest compliment I can give Barkley is that when he plays to his potential he shows glimpses of Zidane. The ability to burst past players from deep, with technical brilliance and strength. All that is lacking is the consistency in having the vision to put players through, which Barkley has shown he has at times too. Perhaps its the effortless technique when on the ball and passing it that resonates with me.
