I don't even think we'd sell him in the summer to be honest. Martinez has repeatedly said we don't have sell for financial reasons anymore. He'll sign a new 5 year contract before the World Cup to tie him down, and Barkley himself doesn't want to leave Everton anyway.

That article brought up Fellaini - Fellaini wanted out for 18 months prior to going, put a release clause in his December 2011 contract renewal. Fellaini pushed for the United move. Barkley is not going to push for a move to Chelsea.
