I always keep my fingers crossed that we have gems in the making.
However, I do remember the fuss when we signed Vidarson. He was all the adjectives you could think of at 16!

Ross Barkley: Everton
Born: Dec 5, 1993
Position: Midfielder
Liverpool-born Ross Barkley, 17, joined Everton at the age of 11 and, despite his preferred midfield position, can also play in defence and attack. Barkley has represented the England Under-17s and played in their 2-1 defeat of Spain when England won their first ever European Under-17 title in May 2010. The youngster featured on the substitute's bench for the home Premier League game against Newcastle United in September 2010.

would love to see the kid get a run out this season if he gets back to fitness in time. The kid is rated very highly within our coaching staff so say a better prospect than even Rodwell
