If we'd played Barkley on the left for a whole season in horrendous circumstances he'd probably have looked crap as well.

I don't think anyone's elevating Sigurdsson beyond where he deserves to be. This place would have lost its mind if Barkley had scored Sigurdsson's goal vs Leicester for us or scored 4 goals in 9 in the league, playing how Sigurdsson has been.

He's had a lot of decent seasons to be fair mate, just not with us as yet, but even after that he's still more productive than Ross. Actually Sigurdsson was voted into the top five players in the premiership in a recent poll.

We played Ross on the right in the second half of Koemans first year and he was sound when played there I thought.
