One of the worst arguments i've seen put across online that. It genuinely seems that in the eyes of your average Southampton fan, that if you finished in 6th or 7th place in the past 2 seasons, that is the only worthy criteria to judge how big a club currently is.
The vocal and loyal support card doesn't even come in to it and that's the main focus of the article.
"But that seems to be the only ‘logic’ people come up with when discussing Everton as a ‘big’ club. Go figure"
The only logic lol. Yeah forget everything in our past that's made us one of the biggest clubs in England, including 9 League Titles, the only thing we can use as an argument is our vocal and loyal fanbase. He's even got that wrong as the only vocal support a lot of our support showed last season was to boo the players and get on their backs. The history gets labelled irrelevant so what about the future? £100m to spend, new stadium on the horizon, a lot of top players already in the squad. A lot of them have been making out like our squad is full of players like Pembridge, Gemmill and Linderoth, not Lukaku, Deulofeu and Barkley lol.
