A lot of comments directed at him that he just doesn't deserve. His last three jobs got Southampton to 7th and 6th, us to 7th. Also Shaken Netherlands out of the slump they were in. Koeman's rep as a manager over there is, remarkably, even worse than it is here thanks to his spell at Valencia which was historically terrible. Suffice to say that in less than a year he took a side that had David Silva, David Villa, Juan Mata, Marchena, Banega, Albiol and others and would have relegated them if he hadn't been sacked.

This appointment is insanity. They'd have done less damage if they appointed a bloke whose only claim to fame is that he used to steal Messi's mums underwear off a washing line.

No mate , Walsh was the problem.

Granted you can chalk the likes of klaasen as his signing as that does make sense. The rest were Steve Walsh for the most part.
