Klaassen was a strange one, looked the real deal at Ajax but was useless here.

He just wasn't cut out for the step up in competitiveness between the Dutch and English leagues. At least he went quickly without fuss to continue his career and handled his situation here professionally.

Is he not doing exactly what they need him to do? Get rid of the senior figures who have supposedly destabilised the dressing room, and bring in some younger talent, for when Xavi takes over. Cos no way Xavi comes in and starts going all Royal Rumble on the squad, this way Xavi will come in as the saviour if this all goes pear shaped.

I still don't think Messi will leave though, unless he goes to MLS or something, cos he doesn't seem one for taking on new challenges.
