You joking? Yeah the Barkley situation has cost us but that's no loss to Barkley, Koeman can't force him to leave or sign, player power, only this one is rotten to the core
Koeman is most probably the reason he's leaving no need for the snide comments after every other game just because his doesn't approve of his running stats I'd rather have Barkley than Koeman just my opinion :coffee:

Snide comments? He improved the lad because he needed improving. Seems strange that Allardyce, Hodgson and Warnock have had a say also. That's what managers do. Ross just needed to buckle down and work on his faults.

Koeman Improved him how exactly? He preformed much better under Martinez?? Constantly criticizing a player in public brings no positives let's see if he does the same when Martina has a shocker

He wasn't constantly criticised though. He was asked why Ross was subbed at Sunderland at HT. He replied honestly saying he couldn't keep the ball and was giving it away. He stated that Ross is not a young boy anymore and should be showing more than he currently is. I don't see anything wrong.

He did improve to what stage he was at. He actually tried to win it back which should come natural. He didn't lose the ball as much. There was a definite improvement.

Looks to me like Ross wants to do what he wants to do and takes umbrage at being told what to do which is silly as quite a few managers have said the same thing.

He became a more rounded player under Koeman, the period from Christmas to probably a month before the end of the season was his most consistent spell in his time at us. He was definitely more influential to the way we played in that period then he ever was in a Martinez team. I also think that wasn't the way to go with him. He should have been coached to play to his strengths and improve his weaknesses, not just play him in a way that removes the chances for him to make those mistakes. It doesn't address the problem. Saying that I'm not a football manager and ex top level player. Maybe Koeman and the staff just don't think he is able to coach those errors out of him for whatever reason and so the best way to get what you want out of him is to play him how and where we did

Roy Hodgson is a clown he said Ross is a risky player who plays the killer ball too often that's exactly what we needed in the Iceland game if he was that bad of a player the likes of Spurs and Chelsea woudn't be interested would they

He is a delicate flower is our Ross. Like Koeman explained to him be afraid if you are not being talked about. Still reckon Koeman just answered questions honestly like he always does.

You could say that Chelsea and Spurs are after him because he is in the last year of a contract and can see a bargain price that means that once he signs a contract with them they can basically double his price or even get there money back quite easily. Like we know it's all business and neither of them would lose out if it didn't work for Ross. Good gamble to the detriment of us.
