Ronald Koeman discussion

No mate. Back four fixed is easy:

Buy a commanding keeper who's a proper first team player and not a has been who can't secure a starting place elsewhere.
Play a back four of Coleman/Holgate---Williams----Mori-----Galloway.
Play Gueye in front of them in a Carsley type role.

That would have been a secure back four even without bringing in a new CB.

Can I have my £6m per season now?

You mean what moyes played which you hated

Shocked

He's blaming his wife for Treegate?

I guess that means we have to add sexism to his dogeared scroll of crimes.

Where will this all end?

Davies should be given a look in my opinion and not just riding the bench. Our midfield at the moment is to say it nicely is atrocious. No link up play no guile and possession less. What we have witness in the past three or so weeks is horrific. We seem lacking of any ideas and definitely unable to execute basic availability for anyone off the ball. Lazy gits is what my Grandad would call it and I tend to agree. So we need some youthful exuberance hopefully to reignite a stagnant team.
The only slight concern I have about Davies is that he seems a bit slow, I am only going by what I have seen on tv and hope someone can show I'm wrong!

Dave isn't really going on about how much better Martinez is though, to be fair to him, he's mostly just saying that he doesn't like Koeman

I think even Dave will admit that it was time for Martinez to go. He's just not happy with his replacement, as is his right

FWIW, I think Koeman is better than this recent run shows and he has my support, but I'll be honest and say I'm not warming to him as a person

At the end of the day though, that's not really important if he goes on to be successful

The way he's being though demands that he be successful, because he doesn't have the nice guy act to fall back on like his predecessor

Basically, Koeman makes a rod for his own back 99% of the time

Again though, he has my full backing and I won't be remotely arsed about his gruff Dutchness if he brings success to the club

I do wish he'd make more of the youth set up though, that's my only complaint about him thus far, the rest of the stuff people are angered up by doesn't really matter at the end of the day
Jesus Christ! Who cares whether you can "warm to a manager" as long as he wins something! Harry Catterick was a cold, distant person but no one complained till he dropped Young to start Royle and that worked out ok didn't it? ( for those who were around then!)
