"It is omelettes and eggs. No eggs - no omelettes! It depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket you have class one, two or class three eggs and some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem" -

Koemans using a hairdryer to cook the omelette the clueless ferret

Southampton down there next week: they will be right up for this given Koeman stabbed them in the back and a lot of the players hate him.

After that shambles of a summer, we're top of "our league" - realistically I can't see us finishing higher than 7th this season. Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd are all just better.

I do think though we've had a very kind opening run of fixtures, we've been below par in most games and I'm looking at the fixture list wondering where the run of results is going to come from.

As long as we win more than we lose, and we're in contention for Europe heading into the final stretch then Koeman's doing alright.

I'm not convinced he's the man to make Everton come anywhere near the champions league, he'll just make us stable, steady. Sort of like Moyes...

Thought it was chips and mayo rather than eggs and omelettes.
