Still concerned about our tendency to retreat into our shell and invite pressure but to be fair to Koeman it was clear last night that he wasn't happy about that.

Thought we played some nice stuff last night, and for maybe an hour I thought our game management was very good. No complaints about the start to the season, let's keep it going.

Good summer and start to the season. As was said above, in a tricky away tie in a hostile environment they never got any closer to progressing than needing to score twice.

Was right to rest gana last night although I am surprised Rooney played the full 90 - very big test on Sunday. If we can go into the international break unbeaten then it's very much job done

Koeman is an ice man. Been there done it at the very top. He seems unimpressed with frills, he only sees product. He seems to view the game very much like Don Howe did & that's a good thing.

When the experts on here said DCL shouldn't play wide, well I agree it doesn't look pretty at times, but among other things he did, he produced a peach of a cross that resulted in the winning goal. He was productive.
