Probably play DCL there ... ;-)Exactly
He changed formation against Stoke and admitted he got it wrong first half
He changed it again last night when it wasn't working
At least he's tactically aware and not afraid to call himself wrong
Our previous manager persisted with the same tactics wether we were winning losing or drawing.
It's how we compensate for Morgan missing that interests me.
Maybe A complete surprise in store there
He is a passenger. When he came on we were effectively down to 10 men. Hopefully he can adjust to the pace
And yet Moyes took dogs abuse for years for having a small time mentality ??

Bonkers comment. Moyes had 11 years and hit the 'glass ceiling' within 5, did great stabilising us but proved he couldn't move us on. Koeman has been here a year. And yet Moyes took dogs abuse for years for having a small time mentality ??
Because Moyes had 11 years to build his team and in the end had built a very good one. At present we do not have a very good team, we're on our way, but we don't have it yet.
You know you've got a good player when the press doesn't work. There were a few times second half when they tried to clos Rooney down, and he just turned and then turned again, keeping hold of the ball. DelightfulI was surprised and impressed with the way City pressed us for the 90 minutes. Very rarely did we have a player with time on the ball and that includes Pickford. They were all over us like a rash. We couldn't string many passes together due to this high intensity pressing. We still require better movement off the ball and play in 4's and 5's rather than 2's and 3's. Feel it will come once the players gel a bit more but very pleased with our defensive solidity at the moment.
He needs to cut back on that 'protectivity' spiel.

There's no way you can compare both, the funds both had are miles apart. It's quite ironic that a lot of the money we brought in last season was actually another one of Moyes' cheap signing in Stones.
I know people are a bit cautious because Martinez had a great first year, as did Koeman, but I don't see how Koeman can come in for any stick yet. He's started the season off unbeaten in 4 games. If he's getting stick Now, I can't wait to see the reaction after a bad run.
Can all you armchair managers not wait until we at least have a bad result to whinge. There's plenty of time yet, keep your hatred under control.
I actually dread a bad result because it'll go into a meltdown of anger and recriminations , we drew away to city and the reactions from many are fairly accusatory.
Let's just hope the bloke keeps doing his job and keeps us going forward .
