Davies came in at the right time. Could he have come in earlier? Probably, but we'd have been relying on an 18 year old to turn around our form.
He came in at a good time as we'd shown a decent bit of form vs Arsenal and in the first half of the derby. He was phased in and made the most of his chance.
Holgate has been a permanent member of the squad this season.
He has either been in the 18 or the starting Xi for every single game. Calvert-Lewin, prior to his injury, played against Arsenal, Liverpool, Hull and S'ton. Lookman has played in both games he's been available for.
If they're good enough. They play.
The first half of the season was Koeman getting to know the senior squad. The ones who have been deemed not good enough are getting shipped out.
