For all his negatives that would come with Rom, which there are now more, let's be honest here and realise that he would currently walk back into our starting XI.

That's not saying it would be ideal or that I would be overly happy with him, but it's not like we're awash with striking options; also, he'd certainly bring us goals.

Don’t think Rom is a Top 4 player, but he’d suit us brilliantly. Was never that enamoured by him even with all his goals but put him into our side now and we would be transformed. His presence alone would open space for Ricky. Opposition defenders would take a step back too instead of playing on the front foot as we haven’t really got much of a threat now.

Totally agree. There are a lot of limitations to his game and even more so now he resembles a rhinoceros due to his size, but he has proven to be a goal scorer.

Admittedly, he wouldn't be perfect for our system as we are focusing more on pace and movement, yet you know he'd slot enough goals to give us momentum.

I don't think he will ever be a top player because of what you mentioned; however, most clubs below the top echelons would be better off because of him in their XI.
