Right now he barely looks like a professional footballer. No matter how bad Lukaku has been in the past and he´s put in some terrible all round performances, he would always get chances and be likely to get you a goal. When you watch him now, he´s almost scared to enter the box.

For Mourinho and whoever else to allow this to happen to one of their most important players is just inept management.

He did score a lot of goals for us.But the way he kept on, talking about his ambitions, his aspirations, how he wants to win trophies.Well he had enough chances, against an average Man United side, to blast us into an FA Cup final.Awaiting us would have been a winnable game against Crystal Palace.In terms of his goal scoring record you can't knock Rom.But give me someone like Tim Cahill any day.

I think I read he was told to muscle up for the world cup and when he came back tried to lose the muscle which in turn has made him a bit fatty.

He plays for the top club in the world and could of gone to most sides and if he leaves United it will be to another top side he is a goalscorer.

I'm pretty sure his BMI isn't where it should be and it (his extra size) certainly isn't anywhere near being toned muscle; he's put mass on by bulking up.

It all came so easily for Rom. Had a mans body at 14 tearing up underage scoring records. Undoubtedly has talent but has never had the hunger imo. Came to us with a point to prove after bombing out at his boyhood club and was an exceptional goalscorer as we built a team around him. But still the desire to put the team first was never there. It was always about Rom and any ball that asked him to do a bit of work was met with waving arms and pointing to where he wanted it. It always felt like winning came second to him slotting and that's why he will not become elite. The desire isnt there. Unplayable on his day when he fancied it but those were as rare as hens teeth.
