He was OK. Sure, he scored but another time he missed a sitter and he also fell over the ball. Young and Rashford were much better, Mata too. But then he always scores against crap teams, so no surprises.

He's not as fat as I thought he'd be, but still a big mother (I was in the East Stand, quite near the front, so I got a good view).

Fulham tried, but they just weren't good enough. United actually looked like they wanted to play for once.

No... we just KNEW lukaku for what he is.... too many like yourself, far too easily seduced by a goalhanger who has very little footballing ability, integrity or hunger who was not the player we needed.

A 21 year old left winger has scored more goals per minutes for us than lukaku did in his best season for us. Never mind comparing him to a £1m youth signing from Sheffield United or a January desperation buy who has more footballing ability in one foot than lukaku does in his whole body.

If we sign a world class striker I'll agree with you... but he's the best striker we've had at the club since the 80's and 18 months after leaving we have nowhere near replaced him in the CF position.

Hopefully we can do but I massively doubt we'll be doing that anytime soon hence our sensible fans appreciating what a loss he has been up front.

Not an elite player no, but a bloody good striker for a club without CL football and I would be massively more confident on monday playing Watford with Lukaku and Richarlison spearheading our forward line instead of Tosun or DCL.
