Romelu Lukaku

I prefer my striker to actually score goals.

If I want to watch some fast bloke run around I would go follow whatever team employs Usain Bolt.

8 in 15 for Bournemouth this season, has consistently been one of their best players in a comparatively poor team and has rose in quality as the team got better, indicating he's suited to playing at a higher level, especially given his intelligent off the ball movement, decent technique and good work rate.

Yet you see him as "some fast bloke who runs around" and prefer a technically atrocious flat track bully who can't play well against good opposition to save his life.

OK mate x

I actually think Wilsons had a good season, but this season apart he has offered very little.

I get it you dont rate him and I agree he isnt an elite level striker but guess what? We aint an elite side.

A fit leaner Lukaku in any side outside the top 6 would be miles ahead of any other forward and its laughable to suggest otherwise imo.

Have a day off lad.

"Plan B"

When we have the chuckle brothers Tosun and Calvert Lewin getting games up top for us.

The Lukaku of Everton would have this side about 6-8 points better off than where we are when you see all those points dropped to gash sides he would have bagged against.

I wasn't aware that that our options are restricted to just tosun,DCL or buying lukaku back..... because none for me are particularly appalling.

Its a good job that we seem to have a DOF and manager who seems to understand that the future playing model of our club means players who won't press or can't control or pass a ball will not be bought. Which means lukaku will never wear our shirt again.

He wanted the big stagehands as usual he flopped. He's a loser with a bad attitude. Good riddance.

I look forward to seeing who our team of scours u see brand brings to the club.

The lads about 50 stone mate which is what has imo turned him gash this season. If he was the same fitness level he was at us he would be miles better than what he currently is.

Yes his ball control is average to gash we all know that... but unless we suddenly turn into a top 4 side we aint doing better than Romelu Lukaku I wish Evertonians would wake up and realise that. We'll end up with Callum Wilson or another Tosun in Janaury and people will still be in here with the faux bravado of "ah dat Rom iz gash lad nsno"

You seem to even make out the fact that he's the size of a whale isn't down to him either.

He's an idiot. Completely unprofessional.

Does lukaku score goals? I mean he has done.... albeit only against lesser sides on a consistent basis.

He reminds me of when Jelavic lost his confidence....
I will now name Rom - Jellytits, like Jelavic but a wobbly version.

Give me a striker who scores against lesser sides any day of the week.

Huddersfield 1-1
Wolves 2-2
Bournemouth 2-2
Newcastle 1-1
West Ham 1-3

People pretending that Rom up top and Rico out wide wouldn't have turned some if not the majority of the above into wins.

Some mad posts in this thread.

Im sure United do as well, however he has scored 5 while both Glenn Murray and Callum Wilson have 8, Mitrovic at Fulham has 7, so Brighton and Fulham with better strikers, either of those two would be a better option

What makes you think that lukaku could play with Richarlison Bernie and Gylfi? He can't play football - he relies on something to run onto.... those lads are proper footballers- one touch, pass and move.

Unless we change our system to something that resembles ale house like we seen from Newcastle the other night then lukaku has no place in our side. Newcastle is the right club for him whilst they place allardyce footy.

Okay mate lol

Just scored after a storming run from the half way line, bullying his way past three players and calmly slotting it home.
