Romelu Lukaku

His heart will be in it as if it isn't he won't get the goals and, ergo, won't get the big move he wants.

Simple.

And once again, he ain't said nothing unkown, unexpected or even wrong.

Some people will see him disrespecting the club here again though ...

So he hasn't signed a new improved contract as previously assumed. He is now talking about another club he could have been playing for. He was rather coy in his answers about staying at Everton beyond the short-term. Fair to conclude then, he doesn't exactly look thrilled to bits to still be at Everton.

Since we're not playing European footbal for the second consecutive year and we hav'nt brought in anyone of name, AND the fact that he feels he's not 100% fit I can understand he's not happy (yet).

In the article (in Dutch) it is stated that Lukaku did'nt want to give the interview and that all the questions were about his (lmissed) transfer and the fact that Everton doesn't play European football.
In my view he was polite and professional in answering the questions of the journalist (not answering would have been the opposite), and to be fair I really don't see where he's dissing the club here? He's answering in a mature and professional way.

You can find other examples of football players who will do anything to get their transfer.

just reading Lukaku turned down Juve?

Exactly what i expected to happen this summer. Juve sell pogba and sign lukaku with pjanic and have the best young attack in europe with him and dyabala.

Lucky for us he turned it down, but saw that coming a mile away.

He didnt turn down Juve, they didnt bid, he means in 2014 when he signed for us instead of them.

Juve bought Higuain this Summer.

The wording isnt clear, but I think thats what he meant.

I see no reason why Juve wouldnt have bought him, if they wanted to and I think we can all agree theres no way he would turn them down, now.
yeah you are right. If there was genuine interest now he would have flew there himself if need be. Plus the fact they brought Dyabala in plus morata means that would have been the time they were looking solely at young strikers.

Ahh well, i stand corrected, still thought that would be the case this summer though!

I did think that was the plan myself, always thought the Pogba money was gonna be spent on him.

I think the main reason he's still at us is because he's been crap for best part of a year now and has shins made of flubber. No-one was willing to pay £60mill+ for him. Even if he signed a new 5 year contract it'd have a load of release clauses in it. He should get the head down and score some goals that'd be good for all involved.
