This thread would not even be here if Young wasn't predictably sent off again, he'd be a cert to start at Spurs.
As it is and IF Dyche decides to go with a traditional right back instead of 3 at the back the choice is playing a guy we've been trying to offload for years in the berth even though he's out of position, or give a chance to Dixon, the only professional right back available for Saturday. I'll bow to Dyche if he honestly thinks Holegate is better in that slot at right back than Dixon but that then begs the question WTF is Dixon here, I reckon it'd be Dych going all cautious again.
We seem to have this age thing with a large slice of the fan base. Obviously all saying what they consider the right thing to say "He's too young, it'll harm him" FFS. Same age concsious people on the other hand were saying ""he's only 24,give him a chance" when Davies had got an unbelievable 180 games under his belt and was never in a million years good enough for Everton.
Dixon is 20 soon and our only professional right back by trade available, it is lunacy not to start him. If not now then when? I wish other prem teams would follow our idea of not debuting any youngsters, it'd make life easier for us.
