Roma or Lazio

Always liked Roma because of their badge which is proper old school. Lazio with Signori were great to watch though

Lazio - dropped into an end of season game v Livorno while in Rome in 08.

I was wearing my (Sky Blue) Dublin GAA jersey and was welcomed like a long-lost brother!!

One lad even asked if I would put the jersey on his youngster so he could take a photo.

Very friendly bunch - at least those that I met.

I know all about the politics but my experience of Calcio matches is that most clubs have their lunatics, and things are not black and white. Roma for example, despite having a name for being left wing, have far-right neo-nazis in their ultras as evidenced by plenty of photos of their flags and banners.

Lazio and my local team Levski have a long standing friendship bizarrely - if you're going political Lazio are obvious and Levski are "the police team" so it's just weird. Then again it's just a bunch of nazis and lunatics I suppose.

But hey the centennial of Levski was celebrated with a game against Lazio in 2014.

I personally dislike both Roma and Lazio - preferred Roma but they treated Totti like a criminal because he told them the truth so now I'm back to disliking both again lol

Brighton fans are generally some of the most chilled fans I've met too, so I would doubt if they were the aggressors, but who knows

I don't think so, I have read a few things on social media from people I know saying they have had to leave various bars due to locals hassling them last night.

Its hard NOT to avoid some kind of fascism in anything Italian.
