Because Irving is currently playing in that position, i think he has also been captain and Moyes obviously sees Rodwell in a different role

Irving is currently playing right back and he's about 5ft 8, no way would we use him there. He used to play centre back but he's reverted to fullback.

It'd be Rodwell or Neville.

Whats with all these position changes? Are we playing a game of Musical Players at finch farm, i am not happy with it.
Neville is only an inch taller than him anyway and he is reserve capt so he cant be doing much wrong

I was going to mention that as manager of Barcelona, Cruyff often played people out of position. Most famously from an English perspective, Lineker on the wing. He picked it up from Rinus Michels.
