Halewood lad I respect your opinion but sometimes it seems a little piss poor. Howard had a rough beginning but who pray tell is out their that can help us any better. I saw him in action against the Argies and he played a blinder. Just because USA isn't a football power doesn't mean he isn't decent. Neville has been a good servant for us and what he lacks in talent he makes up for in workrate. I can't find much wrong with Jags either. We took a chance on Saha we all knew how brittle he is but we needed cover and already supplied one win for us. Baines could be trade bait but I hope he stays.

He's not ready to be playing regularly yet. Still a couple of years away I think. I'm quite happy with his progress, no need to rush him.

By that logic:

Drogba sucks because the Ivory Coast isn't a football power.
Adebayor sucks because Togo isn't a football power.
Shevchenko sucks because Ukraine isn't a football power.

and so on....

Has he slept with Moyes daughter or something?

After a decent performance against the Gunners, he hasnt been seen since. As far as am aware he hasnt been injured and is constantly getting overlooked for lesser players
Anyone heard anything?

Iwas thinking the same thing while watching the game last night,he will go well with felliani and making more movement for cahill(y)

Howard is like most modern day goalies, he doesnt command his area and is prone to mistakes. On his day he is a decent goalie but isnt consistent enough and has an annoying habit of pushing the ball back into the danger area from a shot.
Neville, i cant be bothered arguing about him anymore. I cant stand him.
Jags is a decent squad player and no more.
Saha i didnt actually **** off as such, i just said he was injury prone and he has proven that.
Baines just doesnt cut it as a defender

HWB this is why sometimes people think your opinion is poor. Jags is now 1 of the first names on the team sheet not a squad player. Why. Because nearly every game he has been fantastic, why do you not see this. I think you just dont like to admit you have made a mistake, Do you still stand by what you said about being in moyes 5 worst buys.

So do you you not think he has been one of our most consistent players this season and even last season for that matter. And surely you must have chnaged your mind on him being in moyes 5 worst buys. I know its all about opinions and i know you wont chnage yours but as from your posts its clear you have a good knowledge about the game you must surely see jags has been a model of consistentcy. Now moving on the the Phil Neville discussion

Yes it does mate, but not what your thinking.

How did Baines get 2 MoM's? and how did a defender get MoM against the sh*te when it was such an inept defensive performance. Your right mate it does say it all

Because Jags has saved us on many occasions this season and I can only recall the one error, although it was a stupid one. I think Jags has worn his heart on his sleeve and fought tooth and nail every single match, which is a lot more than the others. You seem to forget that Yak, Arteta, Cahill have all played well below the standards they have set in recent seasons and seemed not to have their hearts in games untill about 3 games ago when Arteta came inside and Cahill was pushed up front

Players can have good individual performances but can be let down by the players around them. The back four is a unit, if others aren't pulling there weight then you'll concede goals.

That's what's happened to Jags, he's been let down by others around him. His performances has been good, anyone with half a brain would be able to see that. Some of us are sadly lacking in the cranium region.:P
