id say you could be looking at around the 17-20m mark unless a biddin war starts

its a bitter pill to swallow but his potential is the 1st step to greatness, actually fulfilling that potential is a huge step that we may never see from him in a everton jersey and though generally i dont like to see good players( esp young ones) leave however EVERY player has a price

i can remember the excitement of the "potential " BILLY KENNY had

When he leaves Everton it will be for a lesser club and for a much lower fee than anything speculated. He's got to prove himself good enough to be a 1st team starter for the club he's at, before any big club will come in for him. He's not 16 anymore. He's a 20 year old and he is nothing special. Unless Felli or Arteta leave, then for me he's on the bench for a while yet and if he wants first team football then he should be looking at a club like Blackburn, not Manchester Utd. £20 million+ would be great business, but unrealistic business. The clubs that are supposedly going to pay big fees for him watch the same games we do and see the same performacnes from Rodwell. It's not just this season, but for a couple of seasons fans have been generously non critical of him and remained focused on his "potential". It's time realisation set in. We aren't dealing with a Fabregas or Wilshere here.

Was gonna reply to this with a extensive, well thought out answer that would attract lots of hits for the website. Then I remembered that Danny hasn't responded to me in any form in about a year so it's a no deal.

when you think that lot paid 18 milliom for johnson ,he must be worth at least 20 million, to be honest cant see what people rave over , good on the ball but not the engine or devil to be a real top midfielder, centre half maybe?

you can play jack nicholson edge, he plays tony hibbert at center half ahead of rodwell ,and as dun for the last 2 years

yer see were your coming from but i dont see him making it as a midfielder , might look better in a diffrent team, but he is a luxury at the moment here only young like so i might be being a bit harsh
