Rodwell replacement?

Question : why does Moyes keep selling( or losing/ leaving etc) midfielders to replace them again? (opposed to other positions)

Fernandes, Drenthe, Cahill, arteta, gosling, Pienaar, Wallace, Forshaw, Rodwell... Seems to be me he has a problem with midfield.

Drenthe = nut case. Arteta, Gosling, Pienaar = forced a move//left the club Wallace, forshaw = didn't make the grade.

But yes, there does seem to be a pretty high turnover on the midfield side of things. Not too many defenders leaving. Interesting point.

We should sign Dempsey for £8.2m and Donovan when we can. Three yanks in our team the investment will roll in in no time from some USA consortium. Whatever their ages, if we had Donovan, Jelavic, Dempsey in behind, Fellaini, Gibson and Pienaar, the likes of Junior and Barkley backing them up, we would be a SUPER attractive proposition and people would want to see us play. I think he will probably have a look at Rhodes dependant on the price , the thing with moyes is you can't always tell. Before we bought Gibson he was telling people he wanted a striker and a wide player but didn't want a centre mid next thing he bought Gibson. Whether it was because he was too good to miss at the prude or whether Fergie really really recommended him I don't know but moyes can change his mind a bit.

Saw that video yesterday and he really is a good finisher playing in a scrappy team. We're a scrappy team at home especially and so he'd fit right in. I want Dempsey and Donovan.
