Rodwell/Henderson

So it seems that Jordan Henderson is moving to the Dark Side within a couple of days for £18,5 m., and it got me thinking that there is no way in hell we will get £25 m. for Rodwell.

Henderson is a regular and has already received his full international call-up, also compare these stats for this season:

Rodwell:
Games: 28 (11)
Goals: 1
Assists: 2
Yellow cards: 6

Henderson:
Games: 38 (1)
Goals: 3
Assists: 5
Yellow cards: 2

ok is wilshire much better than both of these?? yes imo but compere his same stat's to both these players! goals and assist's are not a big part and these type of players game imo try checking tackles made/won and passes made/completed ect....

Rodwell is a better player than Henderson, and Rodwell isn't that great. For that reason, I'm literally begging for Liverpool to pay close to £20m for him. Would make my transfer window seeing the Kopites waste their money on Mr. Average.

The best player at Sunderland eh? Bound to stand out like a sore thumb then... and as for Bruce's coaching ability and consistency as a manager no wonder the lad wants out.

Obviously the next piece in the jigsaw and now they're offloading Cole for less than they paid him in wages this past year and you can see The RS are still in cloud cuckoo land.

They're spending £20m bringing in a lesser version of Joe Cole - couldn't script it really ^^

Rodwell and Fellaini have massive potential,Fellaini's realised that potential almost, rodwell has still to do it, but my opinion is that he will come good sooner rather than later. We can not sell these two to re-build again, we are on the cusp of progress with those two developing together, the only players we should sell to develop the squad with the funds are Yobo, Yak and poss. Billy but I still see potential in that lad and I would be sad to see him go.

Felli is very comfortable on the ball, he can go on runs and he knows how to find a team-mate. He is everything you want from a defensive midfielder.[/QUOTE]

THIS, with bells on^^^^^^^^^^^^^..

I know a 20m+ offer is tempting,, i,m convinced an injury free Felli can be the foundation of what we,re trying to achieve ( top six + silverware ) more so than Jack..

Silly money for Jack would solve our underlying problem,,, " a top class striker "..

Hoping to see a Rodwell-Fellaini axis of doom next season. Arteta on the left, Cahill in the hole. Just needs a right winger (as often is the case). I'm not sure we got the 4 above in the same team as often as we would've liked.

Someone pointed it out and I agree, there's been loads of times this season where Rodwell should have took the midfield by the scruff of its neck and dominated the game, he's got all the attributes. Hasn't happened though.

Fellaini is ace, anything saying other than that deserves Scott Gemmill.

In that case, Madrid can **** off if they think their getting Hibbo for a measly £40m, £60m or no dice Jose !

£60M for Hibbo? Spread that rumor to ManC and they will come up with £80M just to say that they beat Madrid to a purchase.
