At the time Silva could have got him cheap - to say he is not a threat in a team that won the league and I hate them is a bit naive plus the rubbish Silva did fetch in.......compared to him then as a player....plus we never had Deign then....
He will have to defend a bit more this season which is not his strength.
Coming from someone who wrote DCL off that's a cheek.....he's with them now OK - I don't like him now as he is with them & their ethos, but Silva should have fetched him plus Maguire for peanuts with him.....
