Roberto Martinez still thinks Everton are part of the relegation battle.

I read the article title and then i read the article. Saying we'll have a very long end to the season (thus intimating that we're candidates for relegation) is rubbish. In my opinion.

We'll have a long season ahead because we're badly gash, not because we may get relegated. I can't even see Wigan winning enough games to catch us if we didn't get a single point from now until the end of the season.

Calm down brosef.

There's a difference between him saying that all the teams with less than X points could (not "we'll" as in 'will' as you've said -- COULD) have a long end to the season, and saying that Everton specifically will.

He wasn't talking about us directly, the gist of his argument is that unless you've hit the safety mark already then nothing's set in stone. Any team can go on a poor run of form, as countless have towards the end of seasons in the past. Blackpool and Bolton last year alone should spring to mind.

This wasn't a personal attack against Everton. And yet the title of the thread, your responses and the fact that it's in the Everton forum would lead me to think it was. And seemingly it's led a few others into thinking that too. The fact that you actually read the article and then still posted it like this either tells me that you read like an eight year old with ADHD or that you've got some weird, kopite-esque Everton persecution complex.

But as this is the first time I've really seen you -- a stellar poster to be honest -- look a bit silly on here I'm going to choose to believe that you just skimmed the article, posted it in a haze of fury, and now don't want to admit your foolishness because being bested by me of all people makes you feel emasculated and vulnerable.

Love how you sweeten me up before delivering the killer blow, you absolute monster.

I know it wasn't against Everton in particular, but he should have explicitly said that Everton won't get relegated, because i normally bum off him and i feel betrayed by his statement.

Anyway, least we're not Villa.

Lad I know what I'm doing. This is how I get my kicks -- preying on those who say silly things. I'm fapping right now.

So yeah, he should have added a little bit in there that went something like "Except Everton because der dead boss dem lar eh Brennan lad? Love you mate."

No of course not. And I will take your Villa statement as a Damon-esque admittance of defeat.

It's okay mate. PM me your address and I'll come spoon. I like to cuddle after a ferocious bumming. x

I could easily rip the fact it was in "wigan today" and that some on here have called for "owen coyle in" and "martinez in" etc.

If he seriously thinks Everton are in a relegation battle he's shown himself to be as clueless as a "get owen coyle in" poster.
