We can't actually see what it says yet though. If its full homage to Bob, then that will be a bit cringeworthy. If its something more motivational, with Bob merely being a feature of it, then I'm not so bothered.

He's our manager and currently the 'face' of Everton FC and as such I don't see an issue with it. He's a popular guy with pretty much everyone. The 'poster' is designed for Evertonians to see and I don't see why any Evertonian would have an issue with seeing an image of Roberto. I wouldn't even worry what supporters of anyone else thinks of it.

I can see why some are saying we could have used a former 'great' from our history but who would you choose? People would then be discussing the relevant merits of who to use and a decision could've dragged on.

I see no problem at all. It's not like we're installing a permanent statue of him.
